Dr. Stanley Samuel brings extensive international experience to his dental practice in Denver, Colorado. After earning his BDS from Ramaiah Dental College in Bangalore, India in 1998, Dr. Samuel continued his education with clinical research at New York University. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus, graduating in February 2010.

Since 2011, Dr. Samuel has been serving patients in his Denver-based practice, offering comprehensive general dentistry services including endodontics, oral surgery, extractions, and implants. He is certified in Pankey occlusion methodology, which informs his approach to dental care. During his dental education, Dr. Samuel was recognized with the Best Surgical Award, highlighting his technical skill and precision.

Dr. Samuel's treatment philosophy centers on patient comfort, clear communication, and addressing patient concerns first. He generally favors conservative treatment approaches when appropriate for the patient's needs.

As an active member of the dental community, Dr. Samuel maintains memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS). He contributes to his local community through sponsorships of sports teams and community associations.

Dr. Samuel chose dentistry because he finds it personally and professionally rewarding, appreciating the opportunity to make a significant difference in patients' lives often on the same day of treatment. He offers emergency dental care and multilingual services, speaking Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam in addition to English.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Samuel enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, tennis, and motorcycle riding.

FAQ

Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?

It is recommended to visit the dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning every six months. However, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual oral health needs.

What should I do if I have a toothache?

If you experience a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water and use dental floss to remove any food particles stuck between your teeth. If the pain persists, contact your dentist for an appointment as soon as possible. You can also take over-the-counter pain medication to help alleviate discomfort until you can see your dentist.

How can I prevent cavities?

To prevent cavities, brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and limit sugary and acidic foods and beverages. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are also essential for maintaining good oral health.

What are the signs of gum disease?

Signs of gum disease include red, swollen, or tender gums, bleeding while brushing or flossing, persistent bad breath, receding gums, and loose or shifting teeth. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with your dentist.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept most major dental insurance plans, as well as cash, credit cards, and financing options through third-party providers. Please contact our office for more information on specific payment options and to verify your insurance coverage.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

In case of a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, or broken dental appliance, contact our office immediately. We reserve time in our daily schedule for emergency appointments and will provide you with instructions on how to handle your situation until you can see the dentist.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Yes, modern dental X-rays are safe. The amount of radiation exposure from a dental X-ray is minimal, and dentists take precautions to minimize exposure by using lead aprons and collars. X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool for detecting dental issues that may not be visible during a regular exam.
